This is a skin treatment that uses three different light wavelengths to remove imperfections and give you a younger looking appearance with improved skin tone and texture. It boosts the production of collagen and elastin to remove visible signs of ageing and it can get rid of of frustrating pimples and acne in a way over-the-counter remedies simply can’t. If your complexion is looking dull and in need of refreshing, you could benefit from Dermalux Flex light therapy.
The Dermalux red light will hydrate your skin and reduce age-related lines and wrinkles. It can also shrink pores and give you a more even skin tone. Your appearance should gain a new radiance. The Near-infrared light will go deeper in its rejuvenation. It can help reduce advanced anti-ageing signs, pigmentation problems, and firm the skin. Scars will be reduced and any pain or inflammation you’re suffering from should be alleviated. As for the anti-bacterial blue light, that’s ideal for reducing spots and acne, as well as preventing further break-outs. The combined Dermalux Flex medical grade light therapy will give your face or part of your body an overall healthy boost.
Note: Dermalux treatment may only be performed after a face to face consultation. Initial appointments are consultations only. It will then be necessary to return for a separate treatment appointment, as well as a post-treatment follow up.
No make-up for 6 hours post treatment.
Your skin may be warm and flushed following treatment. This is due to the boost your blood circulation will have received. Any headaches or sleep disturbances you experience should be temporary, but Annie will run through the possible side effects with you during the consultation, as well as the steps she takes to avoid them.
As long as you wear the provided eye protection throughout the treatment, this is a very safe procedure. Again, Annie will be able to talk you through the potential risks when you have the consultation, but it’s not considered to be dangerous at all.
Some medications have photosensitivity as a side effect. If that’s the case, then Dermalux may not be suitable for you. Annie will ask you about the sort of medications you take during the consultation and will be able to advise you better then.
You will need to remove make up before you have treatment, but you will be able to apply it again 24 hours afterwards.
In all cases, it’s necessary to discuss existing health conditions, and what you want to achieve via your Dermalux treatment, with Annie during the consultation. It’ll be possible to give a more accurate answer upon examination of your skin.
